Nutrition & Your Weight- “An Overweight Life Comes with Baggage” Recreate Your Habits & Diet for Long Term HealthThis 4-week course meets weekly for 90 minutes. We will cover the current evidence on stubborn weight loss and provide a path toward helping you reach your weight and overall health goals. Each session will provide tips on how to achieve optimal health and emphasize anti-aging strategies. We will also have a little fun with games such as a team cooking competition, musical chair meal prep, and a grocery store scavenger hunt.
Target Audience: Those who have struggled in the past to lose weight, keep it off or just want to live with fewer chronic ailments. They must enjoy interactive group activities and thrive with like-minded community support.
Your facilitator is Denae Garrett, a licensed dietitian who specializes in behavior modification and evidence-based functional nutrition. She targets the root cause of various health problems to help you heal from the inside out. Denae has worked as a dietitian for various medical conditions such as cancer management, eating disorders, IBS, heart health, diabetes, food allergies and more recently has found a passion in anti-aging strategies.
