ON THE ROAD WITH BULLI - BLUE RIDGE SCENIC RAILWAY November 14 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Approximate Return) Join us on a pre-holiday journey through the charming Appalachian foothills of North Georgia aboard the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway. Park and meet on the Brenau University campus at the Northeast Georgia History Center parking lot adjacent to the Center for Lifetime Study/BULLI House located at 424 Academy Street, Gainesville, GA 30501. We will board our passenger bus at 8AM and depart at 8:15PM. The scenic bust ride to the train station in Blue Ridge will take approximately 90 minutes. Once there, we will claim our tickets and board the train prior to our departure at 11AM. The first leg of our train journey will last one hour and take us to the twin mountain towns of McCaysville, GA and Copperhill, TN. We will have a two-hour layover for lunch on your own. There are a variety of restaurants within walking distance of the train station. Following lunch, we will reboard the train for a 2PM return departure to Blue Ridge. Following a brief break to stretch, we will board our awaiting passenger bus and arrive back at the Brenau campus by approximately 5PM. Cost is $95 and covers the train ticket and passenger bus transportation. Lunch is own your own.
