Let's Cook@Casey is bringing back popular Chef Instructor Kristen Phillips to learn how to bake a new savory snack and take your tastebuds on a wild ride. Students will work alongside Chef Kristen and learn the science behind rolling, shaping and baking fresh salted pretzels with cheese sauce and cinnamon sugar soft pretzels with decadent chocolate.
Chef Instructor Kristen Phillips is the owner of A Family Kitchen. Kristen teaches fun and educational cooking classes and is based in Rockville, Md.
In this hands-on workshop our instructor will teach students how to make pretzel dough and different techniques for shaping, baking and serving. Students will enjoy a taste and then bring pretzels home to share with their families.
For your safety, we ask all students wear close toed, no slip shoes to this class
No refunds will be granted for Let’s Cook@Casey programs. A one-time registration transfer is available to a Let’s Cook@Casey class of equal value if the exchange request is submitted in writing to LetsCook@gaithersburgmd.gov no less than 48 hours before the scheduled program time.
