This is an instructional league to teach fundamental skills. Games are played indoors at the Activity Center at Bohrer Park or MCPS sites on Sundays. Each team is assigned one hour timeslots between 11:00am - 8:00pm. Game times vary week to week. The first team practices will be Sunday, December 8 and 15. A coach will contact you AFTER the coaches meeting (12/4) with your first practice time information. Once a week evening practices begin the week of January 6, day and time are TBD. Games will be from January 5 - February 23 (no games 2/16) . Registration space is limited!
Pre-season Coaches meeting will be held on Wednesday, December 4 at 6:00pm via Zoom. Anyone interested in coaching should contact Monique Comstock at monique.comstock@gaithersburgmd.gov.
The City of Gaithersburg will provide the volleyballs for all practices and games. The City provides a team jersey for each player. Players should wear athletic clothes to practices and games. This can be a t-shirt, shorts, sweats, leggings etc. Volleyball specific shoes are not needed. Any sneaker or athletic shoe is fine. Knee pads are optional/personal preference.
