Create a timeless portrait of your beloved pet in our engaging4-week art class designed for adults. This course is perfect for both beginners and experienced artists looking to refine their skills.
Join us as we explore the intricate world of pet portraiture, learning how to capture the unique essence of your furry, feathered, or finned companions using a grid system and various artistic techniques. Not only will each student walk away with a cherished piece of art but students will also gain valuable experience and content knowledge to progress in their artistic journey.
We will learn about the variety of media involved with graphite drawing, the different techniques to get the desired texture of our animals, and how to draw the realistic characteristics that will bring your drawing to life.
With your supply fee, all the necessary materials will be included. You will use a variety of different pencils, blending tools, erasers, and even pens to create your drawing.
Please note: Students will be responsible for emailing good quality pictures of their pet to the instructor before the session begins. If a student does not have a particular pet to draw, a reference image will be provided.
