We are thrilled that your child will be participating in Concert Orchestra through our Valor partnership this school year! We’ve made a few adjustments, so please take a moment to read the details below. If you have any questions, don';t hesitate to reach out: Concert Orchestra Schedule: o Wednesday, September 5 at Valor: Grade 6: Students will be escorted by a CHC teacher to the Valor campus from 11:15 AM to 12:15 PM. They will meet with Mrs. Mason each Wednesday to learn about their instruments and practice music together. During this time, students will miss PRT and a few minutes of their lunch, but they will have extra time to finish lunch after Concert Orchestra Grades 7 and 8: Students will be escorted by a CHC teacher to the Valor campus from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM. Each Wednesday, they will meet with Mr. Johnson to learn about their instruments and practice music together. Students will miss lunch, recess, and part of their PRT but can eat during class periods before and after Concert Orchestra. Thursday, September 6: o Grades 6-8 Concert Orchestra at Valor: Parents should drop students off at the Valor [insert drop-off location] at 7:30 AM. A CHC teacher will meet the students at 8:30 AM to escort them back to the CHC campus. Please ensure your child is prepared for walking in the weather.
