Description
Spend the day adventuring as we head to the mountains! Stone Mountain State Park in Roaring Gap, NC is home to a National Natural Landmark, the massive granite monadnock of Stone Mountain. This out-and-back hike to the summit of Stone Mountain is 3 miles round trip with approximately 400 feet of elevation gain. This trail is considered a moderate trail. Bring a lunch to enjoy at the summit. Transportation included!- Meet at Quest Nature Center by 8am to take the Nature Center van to Stone Mountain.
