Description
Spend the day adventuring as we head to the mountains! Rocky Face Mountain Recreational Area near Wilkesboro, NC is a North Carolina Natural Heritage Area because of its unique qualities. The area is popular with rock climbers and hikers alike. This hike is 3 miles round trip with approximately 600 feet of elevation gain. This trail is considered a moderate trail. Bring a lunch to enjoy at the summit. Transportation included!- Meet at Quest Nature Center by 8am to take the Nature Center van to Rocky Face Mountain.
