Hosted by SuperNOVA, sponsored by the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development in the beautiful White Point Beach Resort on the South Shore, the Climate Education Teacher Conference will feature 1 day of interactive Professional Development (PD) sessions designed around climate change and environmentalism. Participants in these PD events will leave feeling confident in their abilities to build impactful climate education. The conference is free of charge with accommodations and meals being complementary; the sessions will be offered in English & French. Registration includes an overnight stay at the resort, 3 meals for attendees of the conference, door prizes, and swag! All participants will receive a $200 stipend for attending! Registration is open for teachers of grades 7 and 8 in the South Shore, Annapolis Valley, Tri-County Regional Centres for Education & CSAP. Sessions for teachers in Central and Cape Breton areas will be hosted in Spring 2025.
