Hosted by the NS Department of Education and SuperNOVA in the beautiful White Point Beach Resort on the South Shore, the Climate Education Teacher Conference will feature 1 day of interactive Professional Development (PD) sessions designed around climate change and environmentalism. Participants in these PD events will leave feeling confident in their abilities to build impactful climate education. The conference is free of charge with accommodations and meals being complementary; the sessions will be offered in English & French. Attendees are welcome to bring a partner, and we have limited availability for childcare, subject to request. Registration includes an overnight stay at the resort, 3 meals for attendees of the conference, door prizes, and swag! Registration is open for teachers of grades 7 and 8 in the South Shore, Annapolis Valley, and Tri-County Regional Centres for Education. Sessions for teachers in Central and Cape Breton areas will be hosted in Spring 2025.
