In this art camp, participants will leave the art studio and take their creativity into the great outdoors, painting and creating their own masterpieces outside. “Plein Air” painting, made popular by French Impressionists, is about leaving the four walls of your studio behind and experiencing painting and drawing in the landscape. “Plein Air” is French for “in the open air,” and during this week campers will head outside and let their artistic expression fly! Campers will use both sketchbooks and paper to create lovely landscapes from direct observation of nature. This camp gives children a taste of working like a real landscape artist!
