Get Ready for a Great Job in the Future!Program Overview:Begin your journey towards becoming a lifeguard with our comprehensive training program, specifically designed for teens who will be 16 years old on or before June 1st, 2024. This program will enhance your swimming skills and prepare you with the essential prerequisites needed to attend a lifeguard training course.
Program Benefits:- Skill Development: Receive expert coaching to improve your swimming capabilities, including: - Swimming 200 yards non-stop - Treading water in deep water for 60 seconds - Retrieving a weighted object from 10 feet of water- Prerequisite Training: Acquire the necessary skills required for lifeguard certification.- Future Opportunities: Upon successful completion, your contact information will be forwarded to one of the city's hiring managers to schedule an interview for a Summer 2025 lifeguard position.
