This course is for the beginner who has no previous experience in throwing ceramics on the wheel. The beginning of this course will emphasize learning the mechanics and working of the wheel and tools, along with understanding the clay you will be using. You will also be glazing 2 pieces per student. Each student will have their own wheel along with 25-lbs of clay and a package of tools to perform all the class assignments. $35 Supply fee given to instructor on first day of class
