Description
Learn Tai Chi for Arthritis Form. Tai Chi is a gentle flowing exercise that focuses on mindfulness and breathing. This class will increase balance, leg strength and coordination while imposing minimal impact on the joints. You will learn part 2 of the form during this session, knowledge of part 1 is helpful. Options available for those who need to remain seated for part or all of the class. Register 7 days in advance.
If you have not attended a Fitness Specialty Program, Orientation or Personal Training session in the last 2 years, please complete the attached form and email it to fitness@ighmn.gov prior to the first day of class or if you prefer you may complete a paper copy at class.
