About this event
Students will seek to beautify the JCS campus by painting a mural or exterior classroom doors in the historic district. We will also seek opportunities to support the community through art. Visiting the Lighthouse Arts center or New Studio for visual art, the village art studios, or April Davis galleries to see what working artists do day to day. I would like to collect art supplies to donate to urban youth impact. We will culminate our week with a trip to the Norton Museum of Art to see the impact artists have on our world. Cap: 15.
