Stephen Sondheim is generally regarded in the theatre community as one of the most influential composers who ever lived. Find out why as we explore his life and career, focusing on each of his musicals, from the well-known, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Forum, Company, Into the Woods, Follies, A Little Night Music, Sweeney Todd, and the Pulitzer Prize winning Sunday in the Park with George to the lesser known shows Merrily We Roll Along, Anyone Can Whistle, Passion, Assassins, Pacific Overtures, The Frogs and his final work, Here We Are. Sondheim also composed lyrics for Westside Story, Gypsy, and Did I Hear a Waltz?
