The Art of the Latte: Barista 101 with Capisce Coffee Sept 18 6:00-8:00 This is a beginner-level class for people interested in learning about what goes into the beautiful drinks they get at their favorite coffee shop. This experience is perfect for the coffee enthusiast, friends-night-out, or couples date night! The goal of this class is for participants to leave with an understanding of the components of a milk-based espresso beverage and be able to pour a basic heart. We will go over basic espresso extraction, milk steaming, and pouring technique. With our head barista, each person will then get a chance to practice pouring their beverage and use our state-of-the-art espresso La Marzocco espresso machine. The class will end with a fun “latte art throwdown” competition and complimentary coffee bag. With the help of the instructor, you will learn how to make espresso, steam milk, and try out 3 latte art designs (heart, tulip, and rosetta) in our latte art class for beginners in Lake Placid, NY. We can't wait to sip and create Art with you at 5659 Cascade road.
