If you are a current high school senior or current college student and have received a video bypass to attend our tryouts in May; please use the link below to register for tryouts. UKDT is looking for committed team members who exemplify athleticism through their skill level, fitness, health and work ethic. Members are expected to represent UK by maintaining an athletic/professional image and good academic standing throughout the year. We understand your decision to attend college is very important and we are thrilled you are interested in the University of Kentucky! Tryout Fee for current members of the UKDT for 2024-2025 is $65 and tryout fee for new potential members is $85. In Person Tryout Dates: Memorial Coliseum 201 Avenue of Champions Lexington, KY 40506 • May 2nd at the Historical Memorial Coliseum, tentatively check in at 4:30pm-9:00pm • May 3rd at the Historical Memorial Coliseum, tentatively 8:00 am-2:00pm • May 4th at the Historical Memorial Coliseum, tentatively 8:00 am-2:00pm Tryouts are closed to the public. Tryouts will be a three-day audition with callbacks occurring throughout as needed. You must stay for all three days. Check List for Friday Night: Staple all pages together or put in a folder with your name on every page. • Admittance letter to UK (a copy of original is fine) • 5x7 headshot (does not have to be professional) • Dance Resume • 2 References who can speak to your dance ability and character. Will need first and last name, cell phone and email address. If they wish to include a letter on your behalf, please put it in a sealed envelope with their signature over the seal. • Insurance card (front and back) and physical from a doctor within the last calendar year- this is required from the University to have on file before you tryout. This should be uploaded in Active when you register. • Once you complete your registration, you will receive a confirmation email with additional details, the next steps for you and what you can expect!
