Description
The Firehouse Arts Center in Pleasanton brings historical characters to life during an afternoon matinee, complete with audience interactive Q & A session.Attendees will spend an afternoon with Kasturba Gandhi- she was much more than the silent partner of Mahatma Gandhi, the father of modern India, and was an inspiration for the civil rights movement.Chautauqua scholar Roopa Mohan will bring Kasturba to life, capturing her trials and triumphs in her journey from child bride to freedom fighter.Call 925 373-5700 to register or online LARPD.ORGEnjoy lunch on your own in downtown Pleasanton before the performance.
