Description
Meet up at the Gillig Bus Manufacturing headquarters for an insider tour of the 600,000 square foot plant in Livermore.
You'll be walking and pausing for narration on your one hour guided tour that loops through the enormous manufacturing plant, viewing each assembly station as you go. From initial design through final assembly, each heavy-duty transit bus is designed and built in America and recycles tax dollars back into the Livermore community to further support public transportation.
This is a secure facility with the following requirements:
- Participants must pre-qualify in the Gillig system to receive an invite to be badged for your visit- Watch safety video- Must wear safety glasses (provided)- Must wear closed toe shoes
Necessary information will be emailed to all participants prior to event date.
