About this event
The Adult Ballet class is a mixed level ballet class for beginners through adults returning from any level of prior Ballet experience. The class will be a traditional ballet class with ballet barre work, stretching, adagio combination, petit allegro combination, and a grande allegro combination. As we progress in ballet barre, I’ll also teach a ballet floor barre at times for warm-up. This class is great for learning and strengthening in the foundation of ballet technique, terminology, body mechanics, body usage; musicality with ballet steps, combos, and choreography; as well as learning new ballet dances, and choreography from classical ballet dances. This class is a great way to support and enhance as needed: balance, coordination, flexibility, musicality skills, dance skills in general, and strengthening. It’s a class to experience and enjoy the art of dancing ballet, and enjoy new friendships.
