About This Activity
Description
Has your child ever wanted to learn more about youth opportunities in multisport? We are hosting a kids camp where children ages 8-14 can experience what it is like to be in a triathlon. Camp Director is USATriathlon Level 1 Certified Coach Kat Uchman with over 20 years of racing and coaching experience from beginner to elite endurance athletes. Athletes will practice all 3 disciplines over the 3 hour periods together and put them together with a mini sprint mock Triathlon on the final day! Participants must be able to swim the length of John Sevier Pool without assistance. Bike and secure bike helmet required and will be using parking lots and non-congested community streets nearby. Athletes do not need to be proficient runners to do this camp. For regional area information on future youth triathlon events, you are welcome to visit https://personalbestracing.com/kids-triathlons to find upcoming events if interested. Family and friends are welcome to watch the sprint mock triathlon on Thursday. Rain date is June 20th.
