Description
Financial Literacy for Parents with Young ChildrenThis class is designed to help parents with young children understand the fundamentals of financial planning. Most young parents have limited time and are inundated with kids’ activities, and do not have the bandwidth to understand the financial issues that affect their family’s long-term well-being. We will explore topics like budgeting and cash-flow management (including debt management), savings and investments (emergency fund, 401k, IRAs, and Roth IRAs), education planning, life insurance and risk management more broadly, and home purchase decisions. The goal of this class is to give parents a framework and foundation to make intelligent long-term financial decisions. Instructor: Joshua Goulding, CFA, CFP® Co-Founder/Partner, 4J Wealth Management
