Join the Drama Club this fall for LES EXAMABLES, a hilarious play about students rising up against a national obsession with standardized testing. High school student Anna stages a protest and finds herself crowned as the new principal, but ultimate power comes with its own problems, and soon Anna finds herself descending into madness and imposing even more standardized testing. It's up to her former best friend to lead a rebellion and man the barricades in this crazy parody based on the mega-musical Les Misérables. Everyone who auditions will be cast, and students with interests in directing or technical theater can choose a focus with Ms. Butchy. Performances will be November 22 and 23, and everyone will earn credit toward being inducted into BIM’s troupe of the International Thespian Society. Please contact Ms. Butchy with questions!
