Description
French impressionist artists took advantage of the light-enhancing qualities of soft pastels to create their famous sun-dappled scenes. In this introduction, the class will survey pastel paintings created by these revolutionary artists and experiment with a variety of materials, surfaces, tools and techniques before creating your own pastel masterpiece. All skill levels welcome; all materials provided.
