Our Ranger led interpretive hikes are an opportunity to learn about native flora and fauna. We will likely encounter wildlife and many variations of flora.
The hike is for nature appreciation and education. We will be observing critters that can harm humans if provoked or touched. No roughhousing or attempts to harm any wildlife will be tolerated.
All ages are welcome at the event but we recommend participants be ages 4 and up to ensure that directions for safety will be followed. We will be in the park walking on various terrain for between 45 - 90 minutes depending on the energy of the group.

Please bring: sturdy shoes for dusty and uneven gravelly terrain and water bottles.
For questions about this program, please contact the Park Rangers at ParkRangers@mesaaz.gov with subject: RANGER HIKE or call 480-644-4145 to leave a message.
