Ever heard of geocaching? It's like a world-wide scavenger hunt that leads you on a wild chase for hidden goodies in city parks and nature's nooks. Grab your phone or GPS, gear up for an epic quest to discover 50 secret treasures scattered across Charlotte's parks, greenways and nature preserves. Sign up before January 29th, hunt for caches and record your finds from February 1st to April 26th, and bag some sweet prizes for logging all 50 caches and being a cache-crushing champ! Got questions? Call Kevin at 980-314-1210. Let the hunting begin!
Registration required by January 29, 2025; register each person that will log caches and be in the running for the 50-cache prize; others that want to 'tag along' may participate with a registered person but do not need to register.
This is a self-guided activity with support from Nature Center staff. You will receive geocache locations and additional instructions after registering. Does not meet in person with staff.
If you are registering for another program during the time frame of this program, and receive a 'error - conflict' message, call the program host center or Stevens Creek at 980-314-2526 ext 0. to have staff override the conflict.
