Even when prescribed, medications can pose risks to ourselves and our loved ones if they are not taken, stored, and disposed of properly. This presentation aims to educate on medication safety, with a specific focus on opioid use. Participants will learn to recognize signs of an overdose and respond with lifesaving interventions. Additionally, participants will receive Revive! Naloxone training, along with medication locking pouches and disposal bags. Presented by Sarah Gagnon with Virginia Department of Health and Lindsay Cunningham with SAFE.
