Junior Rehabber Corps is designed to give teens the opportunity to explore a variety of animal and environmental career fields, and while JRC is typically held in the summer months at the Wildlife Center, we wanted to extend the experience into the school year and into the community. This semester, the education department at Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh wanted to highlight the wonderful work of those dedicating their time to our beautiful park systems. Participants (ages 13-17) will meet at Harrison Hills Park where we will meet with the Allegheny County Park Rangers. We'll hear first-hand what a day in their life as a ranger is like, and then we'll get to experience the magic by taking a guided hike through the park.
