Description: An Introduction to Art Appreciation: Challenging Our View of the Arts (Section 2) Unlock the profound impact of art on your mind with the continuation of our course, "An Introduction to Art Appreciation: Challenging Our View of the Arts." In the second section of this course, we will be continuing the ongoing discussion of art’s multifaceted role in our lives, focusing on themes of Nature, Money, and Politics. Drawing inspiration from Alain de Botton’s "Art as Therapy" and John Berger’s "Ways of Seeing," this section delves deeper into the philosophical, psychological, and social aspects of art. Building on the foundational understanding developed in the first section, we will further explore how art reflects, critiques, and influences the world around us. This course remains a blend of theory and practice, offering a comprehensive exploration of how we perceive and create art, while also introducing basic drawing fundamentals for those seeking to enhance their artistic skills.
