This club will run for the Fall Semester and will be held on the second Wednesday of the month. Here are the exact dates for the fall semester: 9/11 10/9 11/13 12/11 This Fall, photography students will focus on the history of photography with a hands-on approach from sun (cyanotype) prints to pinhole cameras to film. Students will have monthly digital assignments that mirror these approaches. For those students who enroll in the Spring semester, a photography show will be the culmination of their work. There will occasionally be bi-monthly club meetings to allow for field trips to museums and galleries (transportation will be required for these). Students do not need a special camera - an old cellphone or a way to capture and email a digital image is all that is required. If you need assistance finding a camera, please advise. No student will be denied based on access to materials. **A note the first iPhone photo published as photojournalism was in the NY Post, they did not know it came from a phone! Current technologies do not require a special purchase to make beautiful artwork.
