Spanish at the Workplace (level A2 – B1)OnsiteMonday, January 27th – April 7th (6 to 8 pm)Holiday: President’s Day, February 17thThis course is designed to equip you with the basic language skills and cultural knowledge needed to navigate the Spanish-speaking business world. You will learn essential vocabulary and grammatical structures commonly used in business settings. Among the objectives contemplated you will learn terms related to companies, departments, job titles, marketing and more. Also, you will practice all four language skills (speaking, listening, reading, and writing) in typical professional situations.
Biodata
Verónica Gálvez holds a bachelor degree in journalism from the Complutense University (Madrid) and a Diploma in communication and marketing from UCLA. She teaches Spanish at the Cervantes Institute in New York and at the United Nations. Throughout her career, she has taught Spanish for specific purposes for different professional environments (business, journalism) in numerous institutions and several universities.
- Required book and workbook can be purchased at time of registration. Books can be picked up at the Registration Office on the 2nd floor.
- AVE Spanish Online Course is optional and can also be purchased at time of registration.
