1 Thursday, February 27, 10:00 am - 12:30 pm Figure Drawing Workshop - Portraits Members $35 / Non-members $39 One of my favorite aspects of drawing from life is capturing the personality of the sitter. Seeing the person before me, not a just a figure, but a partner in creating something. In addition to covering the fairly consistent rules of proportions, we will look at how lights and dark are the key to capturing a person's likeness. Some drawing experience will be helpful. Materials List: 18x24" newsprint, vine charcoal, #6B charcoal pencil, kneaded eraser, Drawing board
