About this event
What you'll be doing: W.A.M.Y. Community Action provides programs and services designed to help low-income individuals and families become more self-sufficient. This summer, they are partnering with World Changers July 8th-12th . World Changers is bringing 140 volunteers to the High Country to work on 14 homes in Watauga and Avery Counties in 4 days! They need some pre-work done before the group arrives and that's where we come in! A few of the homes need some items moved off porches and pressure washing so that the homes can be ready to paint. What to Bring: - Closed toe shoes - Comfortable clothes that can get dirty - Water - Lunch - Willingness to work hard and help out our community!
