Description
For the Adult League (18+) Field Hockey program, players can indicate a team association. Individual players who are looking for a team will be added to teams that are in need of additional players. No refunds will be issued after regular season games have started. In the event that NNPRT cancels the program for any reason, refund information will be distributed via email. The age eligibility date for the field hockey league is January 1, 2025.
Exception to Adult League- Seventeen (17) year old players may participate in the adult league if they turn eighteen (18) during the game season AND they have graduated high school.
Games will take place mostly on Saturdays (some Fridays are possible) at the Denbigh Community Center.
All players are required to have his/her own mouthpiece and legal field hockey stick. Outdoor field hockey sticks must be covered and taped. Indoor field hockey sticks are permitted to be used without any covering. Shin guards are required for the youth league participants and strongly recommended for Adult League participants. The wearing of protective eyewear which meets the ASTM F2713-09 standard for field hockey is optional for both youth and adult participants. Rubber non marking soled sneakers are required. No cleats of any kind are permitted and equipment should not be shared. Mouth pieces shall remain in mouth at all times.
