Description
Saturday, October 199:30 am - 1:00pmNolensville Rec CenterThis one-day workshop takes you through a painting from start to finish. We will first learn/practice some basic watercolor techniques before embarking on a painting of a floral together. Sketches will be provided.
Students will bring their own materials for this class.
Supply List:
- 140 pound watercolor paper (a small amount for practice)
- Watercolor paints (tubes recommended) – best student grade brands seem to be: Cotmans, Grumbacher, Arteza. Artist loft also seems to be adequate for beginners.
- Brushes for watercolor (meaning they have a shorter handle and soft bristles). You will want the following brush shapes: wide flat, large round, small/medium round, very small round, and liner.
- A pallet
- A pencil and eraser
