No where in the world can you find a museum like the International Spy Museum in Washington, D.C. This impressive museum holds the largest collection of international espionage artifacts on public display as well as first-person accounts from top intelligence officers and experts. Through historical photographs, interactive displays and videos, the permanent collections trace the complete history of espionage from the Ancient Greeks to the American Revolutionary War to the Cold War. New in 2024, experience "Bond in Motion", an all-new special exhibit celebrating six decades of iconic James Bond 007 vehicles. After an orientation by a guide, you will have several hours to explore on your own-don't forget to stop by the gift shop. Your "Spy themed" day begins north of Washington, D.C. with a visit to the National Cryptologic Museum, which is the National Security Agency's gateway to educate the public about the role of cryptology in shaping history. Cryptology is the science of secure communications-creating messages with hidden meaning where codes are needed to solve them. The NCM collects, preserves, and showcases unique cryptologic artifacts and shares the stories of the people, technology, and methods that are defined cryptologic history. Enjoy a 90-minute guided tour of the museum. After your morning tour, travel to D.C. for a delicious plated lunch at The Point D.C. The afternoon will be spent at the International Spy Museum.
