In this STEAM sampler camp, students will explore what it means to turn an idea into reality through design thinking, prototyping and fabrication. Discover the fundamentals of how to use 3D printers, laser cutters and other fabrication equipment to make your own designs and invent something new! Participants will have access to large format printers, UV printers, laser cutters and more as they work on a project of interest. Projects can range from jewelry, wearable tech, t-shirt design and whatever else the students can imagine. During the week, participants will work on one group invention as well as one individual product design. Past maker experience is helpful but no previous experience necessary.
