About This Activity
Campers will dive into the art of mask-making using cardboard and recycled materials as their base, layering with paper mache to create unique designs. Over the course of the week they will build, shape, prime, paint, decorate, and gloss their masterpiece masks! While waiting for the paper mache to dry, they’ll get to create a second mask using air-dry clay and pre-made forms. Campers will have the opportunity to foster confidence and use their creativity to think outside the box, while gaining an appreciation for diverse cultures and communities. It's a perfect opportunity to blend art, culture, and hands-on fun!
