Aquatic Supervisor certification prepares instructors and lifeguards for front-line supervisory responsibilities in aquatic facilities. The 13-hr. course provides the knowledge, skills and tools required by aquatic team leaders who oversee instructional and recreational programs on a day-to-day basis. Candidates for the new Aquatic Supervisor must hold Lifesaving Society Swim Instructor or Lifesaving Instructor and National Lifeguard certifications. Required candidate references include the new Aquatic Supervisor Workbook, the Guide to Ontario Public Pools Regulation, and Alert: Lifeguarding in Action.
