Want to grow native species from seed? Join Becky Lyons and Brandon Bernard, foundational members of Macphail Woods, as they share their expertise in native plant propagation. This course will cover the essentials of seed collecting, including how to identify ripe seeds, proper storage, and stratification techniques. You’ll also learn expert tips for successful germination and how to integrate native plants into your landscape. Perfect for gardeners, conservationists, and anyone passionate about restoring local ecosystems! Participants will receive a gift of one small seedling at the end of the day. Course will be held at 269 Macphail park rd, Vernon Bridge PE. Rain or sign unless notified otherwise.
