Description
We're sorry, but this activity is over. The last meeting was Thursday, November 21, 2024.
Sound Bath or Sound Immersion is any form of sound involving sound bowls, percussion, chimes, gongs, tuning forks, and intoning to create a soundscape in which to be able toto meditate. A key aspect of sound meditation is to begin with an "intention."
The sound itself create a lower brainwave state to help you relax without having to 'work as hard' to settle and calm the mind. The sound frequencies enter our ears and body, raising the parasympathetic part of our nervous system. The physiological effects then go on to the benefit our emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being.There will not be any class on 10/3 & 10/31Sound Bath or Sound Immersion is any form of sound involving sound bowls, percussion, chimes, gongs, tuning forks, and intoning to create a soundscape in which to be able toto meditate.
