Moreno Valley Road Runners Club will be celebrating our 12th annual Turkey Trot fun run at Lake Perris State Recreation Area Dam 17801 Lake Perris Drive Perris, Ca 92571. On November 22, 2025, at 7:30 am.
What: Don’t miss Southern California’s best Thanksgiving tradition! Run/walk a 5K or 10K before you feast. There will be a 1-mile kids race (ages 12 and under) Everyone is welcome!
Where: Enjoy a historic course along the Dam, referred to as The Lake Perris Dam. You’ll pass by such a notable lake. What a great way to see the beautiful lake in the morning.
Course: The race starts and finishes at the Dam. 10K race will run the 5k course twice. This is a flat long course with no traffic.
When: November 22, 2024. Packet picks up opens at 7:30 Am. Arrive early!
Race Start Times: The kid’s 1-mile race starts at 8:15 AM, and the 5K and the 10K start at 8:30 AM.
Awards: Top 3 boys and girls in the 1-mile race, top 3 Male and Females in the 5K Trophy. Top 3 open Male and Females in the 10K Trophy.
Giving away: Medals to all participants and 50 first sign-ups will get a t-shirt.
Fees: kids 1 mile race is $5.00, 5K race is $20.00 and the 10K is $25.00. All fees are the same on race day. (Price never goes up on race day). On race day we take cash, Venmo, Cash app, and Zelle. The entrance to the park will be $10.00.
