Join us for this special Summer at South Mountain Lecture Series event, featuring Park Steward and Author Andrew Lenartz.
Andrew will speak on his 2021 publication South Mountain Park & Preserve: A Guide to the Trails, Plants, and Animals in Phoenix's Most Popular City Park. He will speak on all things South Mountain, including stewardship at Phoenix Parks and his inspiration for writing this definitive guide to the mountain. A Q&A session will follow, so be sure to come equipped with all your South Mountain questions for Andy, he literally wrote the book on it!The Summer at South Mountain Lecture Series is intended to offer the public safe opportunities to beat the heat while still getting out to your Phoenix Parks and Preserves during the summer.
This event will take place in the Conference Center at the South Mountain Visitor Center (10409 S. Central Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85042).
*Parking is limited, please park in the Activity Center Parking Lot.
