Drilling to Prepare for “Bangers”— Students must have completed an advanced beginner pickleball class. Class will be one hour and 45 minutes, with a minimum of one hour of drilling—so be prepared for cardio. We will be capturing video during class. All students should bring some form of eye protection, a paddle, water and court specific shoes.Class will focus on drills designed to prepare for bangers. Drills will require a certain level of skill — so students must have completed Advanced beginners.It will consist of one hour and 45 minutes. The first hour will be a physical warm up followed by drilling. Fast drillsDefensive lob drillsReset/block drops from the transition zone into kitchen Serve/returns with focus on advancing before your return ball comes bounce and which returns let you get closest to the NVL.Letting “out” balls fly—focus on learning when to let a ball go because it is going out.Counter from the non-volley line.The end of class will be play to implement what we have worked on.
