Helpful "How-To" Tips for Registration

Set Up Your Account Now. Make sure your Phoenix Parks and Recreation Registration Account is set-up in advance.
Review the Challenge Options. Challenges are separated by the number of summits and by starting location. Please, log into your account and review PSC options before the registration date.
Use the "Wish List". Add items to your "Wish List" prior to the start of registration for the fastest possible registration experience. Using the "Wish List" does not reserve a registration spot, it only earmarks the item so that you can quickly select the "Add to Cart" option once the registration window begins.
The Day of Registration. Give yourself ample time to sign into your account and open your saved "Wish List" before the beginning of registration; locate the area of the page which the "Add to Cart" button will appear in the "Actions" column; locate the live countdown timer for the "Add to Cart" button; once available, select the "Add to Cart" button and begin the check-out process. Registration is first-come-first-serve and will fill extremely quickly. ____________________________________________________

It will fill up quickly! Phoenix Summit Challenge is an extremely popular event, and though we would love to allow everyone who is interested to participate, we must put limitations on the number of participants to ensure the safety of the event. The event has historically filled to capacity within moments of the start of registration. We apologize in advance to anyone who is unable to participate, and we strongly recommend that you review the registration tips listed above.
Registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable. Due to the popularity of the event and limited number of available spots in each challenge, all registrations are strictly first-come-first-serve, non-refundable, and non-transferable.
This is a rain or shine event. The Phoenix Summit Challenge is an outdoor event that is susceptible to environmental conditions that are often unpredictable and can change quickly. Please review weather conditions as we near the event date, and plan accordingly.
Mandatory Bag Pick-Up. Join us on Saturday, November 9th from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the Arizona Hiking Shack (3244 E. Thomas Rd) for the mandatory Bag Pick-Up. This will be your opportunity to pick-up your official event tee shirt, parking wristband(s), and other important event information. Additionally, you can complete your electronic tracking system registration, visit promotional booths from some of our great sponsors, purchase extra meals for guests that you are bringing to the UROCK Festival, and to stock up on beer tokens!
No hiker times will be posted. This event is a non-competitive hiking challenge. The electronic tracking system is used solely as a safety feature and is meant to help event coordinators track the location of hikers. It will not provide an accurate measure of completion times. Additionally, we will not be tracking the order in which participants finish the challenge. Please note, we will be providing the contracted electronic tracking company with the first name, last name, and zip code of each participant.________________________________________________________________
The PSC community is making a difference. We take the stewardship of our 41,000 acres of Phoenix preserves very seriously. It is through events like PSC that we are able to ensure that our 200 miles of trails are safe, accessible, and remain one of city's most beloved resources. We appreciate the support of the hiking community, we could not do it without you._______________________________________________________________
If you have questions or would like to speak with the PSC Team, please email psc@phoenix.gov and we will work to get back with you as quickly as possible.
