Description
Ages 55+
April is Poetry Month! Everyone can write poetry—even if they’ve never tried before. Poet Lavinia Kumar will share examples of short spring-themed poems, both classic and modern, and provide inspiring prompts to help you get started. Try your hand at a 3- or 6-line poem, or go longer—rhyming or free verse. You can even explore “prose poetry,” a poetic short paragraph. Whether fact, fiction, or a blend of both, anything goes! Bring your own lunch or bring a potluck dish (appetizer or main dish) to share amongst others who also bring a dish to share. The Twp. will provide coffee, dessert, and cold drinks.
FREE – REGISTRATION REQUIRED
