Description
This activity has been cancelled.
This still life, floral, animal, and landscape class explores clay-based, wax, graphite, watercolor, charcoal, and pastel pencils and sticks and is being taught by Sue Mahon with over 35 years of teaching experience. Since we work from photos, a new project photo is offered each month along with a how-to sheet and supply list. Techniques and surfaces used are interesting and informative, i.e., did you know that pencils can look like an oil, pastel, or watercolor painting, or that there is a translucent plastic surface coated to take colored pencils on both sides? Supplies are furnished your first month and as a new student, your first project will be a simple black and white still life. In subsequent classes, projects will be mostly in color. You must sign up at least 24 hours before the first class.
