Description
Adult participants enjoy becoming more powerful forward and backward skaters, learn to parallel side stop and challenge themselves to learn skills to help master forward crossovers.
CSA approved helmet mandatory, and skate and helmet rentals included in program fee.
Prerequisite: Completion of Adult Level 2 or by assessment during public skates. For further assessment information contact skating@portcoquitlam.ca.
Important:
- Register for only one class per set
Reminders:
- Approx. 20 min prior to class to acquire and put on equipment
Bring:
- Gloves for safety as well as warmth
- CSA approved helmet are required, bike helmets not made for ice
- Skate and helmet rental free with registered lesson
Helpful tips:
- Allow adequate time prior to lessons to acquire and put on equipment
- Choose approx. 2 sizes smaller than shoes for hockey skates and same size as shoes for figure skates
