Get your hands into clay and exercise the right-hand side of your brain! Learn basic hand-sculpting techniques (coil, slab, negative and additive sculpture) to create 3-dimensional projects in clay that will be glazed and fired. Each camper will have at least one pottery wheel experience. No previous experience required. Clay pick-up date will be later in the summer at our studio in Raleigh Hills. Exact date TBA (depends on the drying time and firing schedule). Full Day Camp 9am-4pm Artists will be grouped by grades: K-2nd, 3rd-5th and 6th-8th. Artists: please bring a light jacket, lunch, snack and water bottle.
